How it works
Enter what you originally paid, how long you have owned the item and its condition grade. We apply the retention curve observed in the Bangladeshi resale market for that category and return a ±10% band — the range in which local buyers actually settle.

The formula
Resale value = weight in grams × (karat ÷ 24) × today's 24K rate per gram. A 1-bhori 22K chain holds ≈ 10.69 g of pure gold. Making charges paid at purchase are never recovered on resale.

No visible marks, full box + accessories, warranty often still valid. Resells at 80-90% of the used-market top price.

Light wear, minor scuffs, all functions perfect. The most traded grade in Bangladesh — expect the median price.

Visible dents, replaced part (display, battery, panel) or no box. Sells 20-35% below median; disclose every repair.

- How is the resale value calculated?
- We apply a category-specific retention curve for the number of years you have owned the item, then adjust for condition grade (A/B/C). The output is a ±10% band, which is where Bangladeshi buyers typically settle.
- Is this an official valuation?
- No. It is an indicative market estimate based on observed resale behaviour in Bangladesh. Final price depends on your district, paperwork, accessories and how urgently you need to sell.
- How do I get the top of the range?
- Complete box and accessories, daylight photos of every angle, honest disclosure of repairs, an NID-verified seller profile and a price set at the middle of the band rather than the top.
